1. Identification and Legal Framework

These General Terms of Use and Sale govern the relationships between Alfaiate D’Interiores and the users of the website, applying to all orders placed online in Portuguese and European territory.

2. Responsibility for Content

Alfaiate D’Interiores is responsible for all content provided on the website, except for those duly identified as third-party content. Although the company works to ensure that all information is correct and up to date, errors or omissions may occur, which will be corrected as soon as possible. The colors of the products presented may slightly differ from the actual ones, due to the settings of the screen or device used by the customer.

3. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, texts, logos, and product information, is the property of Alfaiate D’Interiores or the respective rights holders. Its use, reproduction, or disclosure is only permitted with clear indication of its source and with respect for copyright and industrial property rights.

4. Registration and Protection of Personal Data

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Law No. 58/2019.

The personal data collected is intended exclusively for purposes related to:

  • Customer account management;
  • Order processing and deliveries;
  • Invoicing and business communications;
  • Direct marketing actions (with consent).
The customer may, at any time, request to enter, rectify, limit, or delete their personal data, or withdraw consent for its processing, via email marketing@alfaiatedinteriores.pt. Alfaiate D’Interiores is committed to adopting all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of personal data.

5. Order Formalization and Confirmation

Ordering products on the website constitutes a contractual proposal by the customer. The contract is only considered concluded after express confirmation from Alfaiate D’Interiores, sent by email with the details of the purchase, products, price, shipping costs, and delivery times.

The company reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders due to computer errors, lack of stock, or payment irregularities.

6. Prices, Payment, and Invoicing

All prices are indicated in euros (€) and include VAT at the legal rate in force. Shipping costs are presented separately at the time of order confirmation.

Available payment methods:

  • Credit/debit card;
  • Bank transfer;
  • Multibanco reference (when applicable).
The invoice is issued after payment confirmation and sent electronically to the address provided by the customer.

7. Deliveries

Deliveries are made within the timeframe indicated in the order confirmation, except in exceptional situations or force majeure. The customer must ensure that someone is present at the delivery address. If the product is returned due to inability to deliver, new shipping costs may be charged.

8. Right of Free Resolution (Returns and Exchanges)

Under Decree-Law No. 24/2014, the customer has the right to terminate the contract without the need to provide a reason, within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the goods. To exercise this right, the customer must communicate their decision by:
The product must be returned in the same condition it was received, with original packaging, labels, accessories, and manuals, properly packaged.

Exceptions:
Returns of personalized products, custom-made items, or rest articles (mattresses, sofa beds, etc.) that have been unwrapped after delivery are not accepted for hygiene and health protection reasons, except if they have a manufacturing defect.

Return costs:
Are borne by the customer, except in cases of shipping error or product defect. The refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 days, using the same payment method, after receipt and verification of the product.

9. Warranties and Complaints

All products benefit from a legal compliance warranty of 3 years (Decree-Law No. 84/2021). In the case of a defective product, the customer should contact Alfaiate D’Interiores via email geral@alfaiatedinteriores.pt, sending photographs and proof of purchase. The customer may choose repair, replacement, price reduction, or contract termination, in accordance with applicable legislation.

10. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
In the event of a dispute, the consumer may resort to the Online Dispute Resolution Platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or to the competent Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity (RAL):
