The Art of Tailored Design in Foz do Douro

This project, located in the prestigious area of Foz do Douro in Porto, represents a remarkable exercise in contemporary rehabilitation, where architecture and interior design come together to create a truly distinct living experience. Developed by Chave Única, a brand of Grupo Epoca, this project translates into a T4 house spread over three floors, where each space has been carefully thought out to reflect sophistication, comfort, and identity.

In this context of demand and personalization, the work developed by Alfaiate D’Interiores takes on a central role. Responsible for the design and execution of all custom furniture, the project was closely and continuously monitored with the owners, from the initial briefing phase to the final realization. This daily oversight ensured that each decision faithfully reflected the client's lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.

The creative process began with the development of a mood board and guiding lines that gave rise to a unique visual language, marked by the balanced fusion of different styles from Contemporary to Retro Chic, with touches of industrial inspiration. This approach resulted in a cohesive and dynamic identity, where contrasts are explored with elegance and intentionality. This project involved a comprehensive consulting effort, including 3D project development, budgeting, and production, ensuring a rigorous execution aligned with the defined concept.

The intervention extended to the entire house, covering not only the furniture but also structural and decorative elements, such as flooring carpentry and wall cladding with paneling and moldings, adding depth and sophistication to the spaces.

Among the various worked divisions, three suites stand out, including the master suite, which features two custom-designed closets, prioritizing functionality and organization without compromising aesthetics. The social areas, composed of two dining rooms and two living rooms, were designed to provide distinct environments, adaptable to different moments, from formal gatherings to more intimate experiences.

The house also includes spaces dedicated to leisure and well-being, such as a game and lounge room, a private cinema, a fully equipped gym, and a climate-controlled indoor pool, whose surroundings have been carefully designed to promote an atmosphere of relaxation and exclusivity. Complementing the program is a meticulously designed entrance hall, which establishes the identity of the house from the very first moment, and an integrated garage in the project, designed functionally and in harmony with the overall aesthetic language.

The final result is a project that goes beyond functional dimensions, asserting itself as a true expression of identity. This residence is not just a dwelling; it is an urban refuge where custom design, quality materials, and precision execution come together to create a unique living experience, in perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
